We are pleased to be part of the OwnArt Scheme, which enables eligible customers to apply for an interest-free loan when purchasing contemporary art and craft, including selected bespoke jewellery pieces from Erin Cox Jewellery.

This blog provides general information about how OwnArt works and how customers can enquire about using the scheme when purchasing jewellery from our gallery.

What is OwnArt?

OwnArt is a UK-wide scheme that provides eligible customers with the option to apply for an interest-free loan towards the purchase of contemporary art and craft.

At Erin Cox Jewellery, OwnArt can be used towards eligible purchases between £250 and £5,000, including selected bespoke jewellery commissions.

How Does OwnArt Work?

If you wish to explore using OwnArt for your jewellery purchase, the process involves the following steps:

Choose Your Jewellery

You can select a piece from our collection or work with us to create a bespoke design tailored to your preferences.

Applying for OwnArt

If you wish to apply for OwnArt, applications can be completed either in our gallery or remotely.

Applying in the Gallery

When applying in the gallery, you will need to provide identification documents and proof of address, such as a driving licence. As part of the application process, you will be asked to provide information relating to your personal circumstances, which may include details such as your income, previous addresses, and the length of time you have lived at those addresses.

Applying from Home

If you would prefer to complete the application remotely, we can provide a link to the OwnArt application. To begin the process, we will require the following details:

  • Forename

  • Surname

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

You will also need to provide details of the purchase, including any deposit amount you wish to pay.

For example, on a purchase of £1,299, a deposit of £299 would leave a balance of £1,000. If approved, this balance would be repaid in 10 monthly instalments of £100.

Application Outcome

Applications are subject to approval. The decision is made as part of the OwnArt application process and may be provided instantly or may require further review.

Repayments

If approved, the loan is repaid in monthly instalments over a 10-month period at 0% interest, subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement.
