sue’s mega tanzanite & diamond remodel

This is a wonderful example of design combining old with new to great effect! This ring showcases Sue’s own diamond and 18ct yellow gold (from an old chain), paired with a whopping 2.84ct / 8.7mm Trillion Tanzanite selected from Erin’s gemstone collection (come visit us to see our current collection). The quirky combination of shapes, dimensions & colour make this a truly unique ring. The tanzanite is cut to perfection, the size of it of ‘wow’ inducing and the design is beautifully balanced. What we would call a show stopper!

James & Nikki - A fairytale engagement ring

This is arguably one of the most romantic engagement rings! James proposed to Nikki & marked the occasion with a band formed from twisted grass. They then tasked Erin with designing an engagement ring that encapsulated this touching moment. Erin designed a ring to pay homage to the trusty wreath of grass. Handcrafted from hard wearing platinum & a scattering of blue & white diamonds, this unique ring is sure to last longer than it’s grass counterpart! That being said, we can’t help but smile when we think of the important role this humble piece of grass played in this fairytale proposal. James & Nikki, thank you for letting us be part of the story!

Joe & Beth’s Castle Street Love Story

Beth has been an admirer of Erins work for a long time, walking past the boutique on Castle Street every day on her way to work.

Soon to be fiancé Joe knew exactly where to create Beth’s engagement ring, however the one problem being Beth worked next door at Caffe Espresso. Joe had to sneak in undetected, this was achieved with lots of laughter and hearts jumping.

In October 2015 he popped the question in Queens Square Park, Bristol. A date was set for a 1920’s styled Wedding at Exeter Castle for Sept 2017. Choosing a champagne diamond & rose gold for Beth’s ring was perfect for this english rose with fair skin.

Together they talked with Erin to create their wedding bands. Deciding to keep all rings matching in Rose Gold and Erins signature styles. Joe’s a drummer and worried about the ring shattering while playing, like many of his friends rings. Erin suggested to make the band in 9ct Gold to make it tougher and It’s still going strong today.

Still adding to their story every year, in Dec 2018 Joe bought Beth an eternity ring to stack with her wedding duo. The rose ring set with white diamonds alongside two blue diamonds representing their sons.

For Christmas 2019 Joe surprised her with a gift voucher and Beth added a brown diamond to the eternity ring. I wonder what will happen next!?

Bespoke Ocean Blue Sapphire Cocktail Ring

This one of a kind cocktail ring was designed and hand crafted for a lovely client. She wanted a keep sake to remind her of yearly family holidays on the Devon coast line.

The blue sapphire to mirror the ocean and the tsavorites to represent the green grass of the cliffs. A hidden diamond to represent a secret treasure.

Ring: 0.43ct Blue Sapphire, 2 Green Tsavorites, 3 Diamonds & Platinum.

Mokume Gane Surfboard Ring

This truly unique ring was hand crafted by Erin, using an ancient mokume gane technique.

Commissioned in secret for a lady who loves to surf. The ring was designed in the shape of a surfboard wrapping around like a curling wave. The nose of the board is embellished with multi coloured diamonds, chosen to lift the hues of the metalwork.

Mokume gane translates closely to "wood grain metal" due to its mottled effect. This Japanese metalwork was developed by master swordsmiths. Created by layering soft metals then removing sections of the surface away revealing the different coloured metals beneath. The metal colours carefully chosen for this ring shimmer like the ocean top in the sun.

Ring: 6 multi coloured diamonds & mokume gane

Wedding Duo - Green Sapphire in Camouflage Gold & Matching Band

Being a big fan of Erin's work but living far away in Yorkshire. This client seized the opportunity to make a bespoke appointment, whilst visiting her daughter on Dartmoor.

With a love for the colour green, this sapphire with delicate shades of sage was chosen to be the centre stone. Both rings were then crafted in yellow & white golds intertwined to create a camouflage effect. Completed with a satin finish making the duo shimmer softly in harmony.

Camouflage Gold is a perfect option if you like to mix it up and not be tied to one colour of Metal.

Engagement Ring: 0.70ct Geen Sapphire, 18ct Camouflage Yellow & White Gold

Wedding Band: 18ct Camouflage Yellow & White Gold
